Heartland Emmy Nom: “Unconditional Love”

HRC wanted to push back on anti-LGBTQ+ bills flowing through state legislatures, especially ones taking aim at LGBTQ+ adoption. As part of a broader comms plan, the org decided to highlight an emotional story of LGBTQ+ adoptive parents. Working with HRC’s Foundation, I helped find the subjects of the film, then hired and guided the phenomenal freelancer, Alex Lau, who produced, shot and edited the video in a two-day turnaround. From start to finish, I executive produced the video, which gained huge views online and went on to earn a Heartland Emmy nominaiton.
