2018 Midterms: “Turn Out the Vote”

During the 2018 midterms the president of the Human Rights Campaign, Chad Griffin, barnstormed Congressional races across the country in support of pro-equality candidates. I came up with our coverage strategy and oversaw field production, putting an awesome producer-shooter-editor I had hired, Wes Jones, on the road to livestream all the events, simultaneously capturing footage to cards and then editing more polished pieces for social in the immediate hours afterwards, including all the versioning for different social platforms. It was a herculean effort from a small team in addition to the other day-to-day needs of the org, and we turned dozens of livestreams and social cutdowns in a matter of hours immediately after each event.
